Death of Mrs. Lizzie Bartholomew.
(Houston Post Special.)
BEAUMONT, Texas, January 27,-Mrs. Lizzie Bartholomew, aged 49 years, wife of Dan W. Bartholomew, died this afternoon at the family residence, 376-1/2 Tevis street, after a protracted illness. Besides a widower, the deceased is survived by a sister, Mrs. Alice Silvernail, residing in this city. The funeral will take place from the St. Mark's Episcopal church next Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. George B. Norton officiating, with interment in Magnolia cemetery.

Daniel W. Bartholomew, b. ca 1858, Crockery, Ottawa, Michigan; d. after 1910, TX?; living in Beaumont, Jefferson Co. TX. in 1903; s/o Arza Bartholomew (See Memorial# 90531324) and (2) Eliza Hunter (See Memorial# 90531237).

A Resignation.
(Houston Post Special.)
BEAUMONT, Texas, June 18.- At a meeting of the stockholders of the Beaumont Iron Works, incorporated, the resignation of D. W. Bartholomew as secretary and treasurer of the company, was accepted with regret. Mr. Bartholomew has been connected with the company since it was established more than sixteen years ago, and was one of its most valued employes. He has gone to Alexandria, La., to engage in business.

Mr. W. W. F. McKee was elected secretary and treasurer of the company and also succeeds Mr. Bartholomew on the board of directors. Messrs. A. C. and C. R. Greeves were directors of the company for the entire year. The other officers of the company remain as heretofore.

Enterprise Iron Works, Alexandria, La., has been purchased by D. W. Bartholomew and B. Boykin, Jr. Mr. Bartholomew for the past 17 years has been secretary and treasurer of the Beaumont Iron Works, Beaumont, Tex.
