Doshey McDougle, the daughter of Oliver McDougle and Viley Millwood McDougle, was the first wife of Marvin Otto McCormick. She died from complications of childbirth and her baby died also. Her tombstone gives a birth year of 1905 while her death record says that she was born in 1906.

Funeral rites for Mrs. Doshey McCormick, 28, were held this afternoon at Johnson Chapel with the Rev. W. E. Pritchard conducting. Burial there was directed by Priest of Decatur. Mrs. McCormick died Sunday afternoon at her home, Danville Route 3.
She is survived by her husband, M. O. McCormick; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver McDugald; four sisters, Mrs. Doris Woods, Mrs. Mattie Myers, Mrs. Bertha Sparks and Miss Rachel Mae McDugald. Three brothers, Willie, John Lewis and Freeman McDugald also survive.
