MINNEAPOLIS, (UT) - A prominent musician from Utah, Dr. James Wilson McConkie, 32, died here Friday of polio.
Dr. McConkie was a professor of music at the University of Minnesota and president of the Minnesota district of the Latter- day Saints, Church, North-Central States Mission at the time of his death.
He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar w. McConkie, Salt Lake City.
