Mildred Adams, 87, of Denver, Colorado, a former resident of Brooklyn, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 4, 1992, in Merch Medical Center, Denver, Colorado.
Avis Mildred McCluskey Adams, widow of the late James B. Adams, daughter of John and Ellen Wylie McCuskey, was born on December 22, 1904, in Brooklyn, Iowa. She attended schools in Brooklyn, Iowa, and moved to Winfield, Kanas in 1922. She graduated from high school there and went to Kansas State Teachers College in Pittsburg, Kansas.
She lived in Dallas, Texas, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, moving to Denver 1988.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband who died in 1952, and two brothers, Therol and Roy McCluskey.
Survivors are a foster brother, Lyle Paul, a niece, Mildred Siefken, and two nephews, Wayne and James McCluskey.
