ALTMAN, Jeanne - Funeral services for Jeanne McClure Altlman, 76, of 2338 King St., who once operated a newspaper at Nooksack, will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the Gillies Funeral Home at Sumas. She married Homer E. Altman in Illinois in 1904 and they managed the newspaper at Nooksack for several years after they arrived there in 1910. Survivors include one daughter, Miss Evelyn Altman, of Seattle; one son, Willard H., of Seattle; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Campbell, of Bellingham; one brother, W. B. McClure, of Seattle; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Christian Science services will be read by Mrs. Lucille Homolka at the Monday rites. Burial will follow in Nooksack Cemetery.
