Died at the Home of the Friendless at aged 2 years.
Buried in the Home of the Friendless Memorial area of Block 4. The Home was founded in 1863, originally for Civil War widows and orphaned children brought here from Fort Smith, AK. Over 6500 hundred women and children passed through the home while it was in operation from 1863-1904. Burial land was donated by Oak Ridge and approx. 185 are buried in this section, most all in unmarked plots. The Memorial was established in 2008 and all names that could be identified as being buried in Oak Ridge and residents of the Home are listed on the wall.
