Funeral services were held at St. Christine’s Church Tuesday for Patricia (McCarey) Faas of Marshfield who died Dec. 15 at the Jordan Hospital after a long illness. She was 61.
Born in Green Bay, Wisc., Mrs. Faas lived there before moving to Ohio. She was a retired social worker in Clairmont, Ohio.
Mrs. Faas was a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, a member of Kappa Alpha Pheta sorority and an active member of Bible study groups in Ohio.
The wife of the late John Albert Faas, she leaves four sons, John A. Faas, Jr., of Cincinnati, Ohio, James A., Thomas M. and David M. all of Boston, two daughters Maura Therese Faas of Marshfield, Elizabeth Jessica Faas of Chicago, Ill., two sisters, Kathleen Fowler of Coral Springs, Florida and Betty Stathas of Green Bay, Wis., and four grandchildren.
Burial was at Couch Cemetery in Marshfield. Contributions in the name of Patricia Faas may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Cranberry Hospice, Long Pond, Plymouth 02360
