Ocala, Florida - Martin Wilson McCants, Sr., age 83, passed away on February 25, 2008 at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
Mr. McCants was a retired Assistant Principal for the Marion County School Board.
He served in the United States Navy.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Children: Rebecca McCants, Cheryl M. Wesley (Don), Martin Wilson McCants, Jr., Alvin G. McCants, Sr. (JoAnn), all of Ocala, Florida, and Glenn O. McCants, Tampa, Florida; Sister, Vernon Castel McCants Edwards, Ocala, Florida; 31 Grandchildren; and 24 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. McCants will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Saint Paul AME Church, the Rev. Joy Galimon, Pastor.
Interment will follow in Lincoln Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 29, 2008 at SUMMERS FUNERAL HOME, Ocala, Florida, from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
