In the same residence but listed as a separate household: John Bateman age 36, his wife Jenzie age 28, W. Bryant 10, Eula M. 8, Katie Alma 5, Nora 2 and mother-in-law Matilda Grimes age 59.
The 1920 Federal Census Taylor County GA shows Mary Bateman age 86 as a boarder in the household of James and Annie Wallace. (John seems to have moved to Griffin to work in the cotton mill. It looks as if his wife Jency died in Taylor County in 1911. No sign of Theophalus.)
