A homemaker, she was a member of the Who So Ever Will Church and worked at Mary Sherman Hospital for a number of years.
Survivors include: two sons, Jerry (Pod) Alumbaugh of Hymera and Monte Alumbaugh of Dugger; one daughter; Marilyn Jean McGhee of Dugger, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren, and several step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Alumbaugh in 1981; one son, Billy Alumbaugh; two brothers; and four sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Pastor Dan Dyer, and Pastor Jack Alumbaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Dugger Cemetery.
