Death: Nov. 19, 1936
Allegheny County
Pennsylvania, USA

Harry B. McCall, well known and respected farmer of Curllsville, died in the West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, Thursday afternoon, November 19, 1936, aged 57 years. He had been a patient in the hospital for several weeks following a lengthy decline in health.

The son of Miles and Lucinda (Grosman) McCall, he was born in Toby Township, Clarion County, August 29,1897.

He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Mae Chestnut, of Widnoon, Armstrong County. Following their marriage September 23, 1903, Mr. and Mrs. McCall took up housekeeping at Widnoon. Following a residence there of approximately six years, they moved to the Curllsville vicinity some 27 years ago, where they have since resided.

The deceased is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Vivian Weeter, Kittanning; Kenneth McCall, Porter township; Ward, of Monroe township; and Eugene of Curllsville. Eight grandchildren also survive. Of his father's family, five sisters and two brothers are living, namely: Mrs. Maude Myers, Gibsonia, Pa.; Mrs. Jessie Clark, Whitmore, Kansas; Mrs. Jennie Shoup and Mrs. Chloe McKee, both of New Athens, this county; Mrs. Ina Scott, of Millvale; W. H. Beecher McCall and Benjamin M. McCall, of Toby township.

For 36 years Mr. McCall was a member of the Clarion Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons. He was a good citizen, indulgent neighbor and an industrious and successful farmer.

Funeral services in his memory were held Sunday in the Methodist Episcopal church of Curllsville, and were conducted by Rev. Albert I. Renwick, of Sligo. The services were most impressive, the choir touchingly singing the favorite hymns of the departed; including "The Eastern Gate," "Goodnight and Good Morning," and "It Is Well With My Soul."

The body was laid to rest in the Rimersburg cemetery under the direction of Mortician R.R. Hawk of that place.
