Victor McCall, 83, of RD1 Sligo, died April 29 in Brookville Hospital.
Born Nov. 22, 1904, in Licking Township, he was a son of the late John and Olive Weeter McCall.
On Dec. 24, 1923, he married Lottie Bashline, who survives.
He operated McCall's Garage at RD1 Sligo for many years, then worked as a mechanic and welder for Bracken Construction Co. of Sligo where he retired in 1969. A member of the Curllsville United Methodist Church, he also belonged to St. Petersburg Masonic Lodge, Coudersport Consistory, and was a life member of Sligo Sportsmen's Club.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Mrs. Francis (Evelyn) Wishart of Sligo, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Pohl of Brookville and Mrs. James (Carol) Black of Beverly, Ohio; two sisters, Estella Stewart and Martha Henry, both of New Bethlehem; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. One son, John, an infant daughter; four brothers, Ashley, William and Leslie McCall and Ed Weeter; and one sister, Olive Barger, preceded him in death.
Burial was in Rimersburg Cemetery.
