Services for Beth Ann Brewer, 70, of Temple will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Temple.
Also a memory service will be 2 p.m. May 14 at Thompsonville Community Church in Thompsonville.
Mrs. Brewer died Friday, April 30, in Temple.
She was born on Jan. 18, 1941, to Horace G. and Sadie McBryde in Gonzales. She graduated from Waelder High School. On Dec. 19, 1964, she married Earl Brewer at Thompsonville United Methodist Church. She graduated from Southwestern State Teachers College in 1963 and received her master's degree in 1975 from the University of Houston-Victoria. She taught first grade for 33 years. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She served as secretary of the Native Plant Society of Texas, Tonkawa chapter.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Margaret Brewer Schroeder; a brother, Bobby Guy Atkinson of Gonzales; a sister, Mary Jane Willard of Rockport; and a granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2407 W. Ave. P, Temple, TX 76504.
Hewett-Arney Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
