Charles A. McAngus, 67, of Honolulu, a retired rifle platoon sergeant in the U.S. Army, died April 28 in Honolulu.
He served with the Wolfhounds of the 27th Infantry in the Korean and Vietnam wars and was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge twice. His decorations include the Silver Star, three Bronze Stars and two Air Medals.
He also worked as a city waste-water treatment plant supervisor at Sand Island.
Committal services: 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire. No flowers. Donations suggested to American Cancer Society.
