Clara McAllister Bell, wife of James Bell of Scrubgrass Township, died Wednesday evening at her home near Emlenton. Mrs. Bell was a daughter of Rachel Stalker and Nelson McAllister; she was 90 years old.
Surviving are three children, Edna Maude Bell, at home; Jessie L. (George P.) Clay of Franklin; and J. Homer Bell of Emlenton; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; also a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bell was a member of the East Unity Presbyterian Church and services in her memory will conducted in the Scrubgrass Stone Church at 2:00 PM Saturday by her pastor, Reverend Faivre of Clintonville.
The body will remain at the Criswell Funeral Home in Emlenton until noon Saturday when it will be taken to the church. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home before the services. Interment will be in the cemetery nearby.
