Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Norma Jean Mayer (Raden), age 62, of St. Cloud will be at 10:30 am on Monday, Sept. 24, 2007 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Norma Jean died on September 20, 2007 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Fr. Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.

There will be a visitation between 4-9 pm on Sunday and after 9 am on Monday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. St. John Cantius Rosary Sodality will pray at 6:30 pm on Sunday at the funeral home followed by the parish prayers at 7 pm.

Norma Jean was born on Sept. 9, 1945 in St. Cloud to Lawrence and Marie (Osmanski) Raden. She married Douglas Mayer on April 23, 1966 in St. Cloud. She was employed as a school bus driver, by St. Cloud Hospital and Stearns Mfg before her current employment at Eye Kraft. She was a member of St. John Cantius parish and Rosary Sodality.

Norma Jean will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a devout member of the Catholic Church and her faith was a large part of her daily life. Her gentle and loving nature touched everyone she knew. She cherished her time with family and friends and will be missed by all.

Survivors include her sons: Christopher and his wife (Shannon) and Jason and his wife (Vicki) both of Owatonna, grandchildren: Collin, Kiersten, Ryan, Cameron, Allie, and Mitchell; sisters and brother: Shirley (Al) Loehr of St. Cloud, Marlene (Richard) Holthaus of Clearwater, and Gerald (Rosie) of St. Cloud; sister in law Lill Raden of St. Cloud.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Marvin, Kenny and Larry.
