Irene Anguish, 86, Topeka, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at a Topeka hospital.

She was born Sept. 1, 1915, in Lehigh, the daughter of Jacob and Anna Wittman May. She moved with her family to Topeka in 1921.

Mrs. Anguish was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

She married Donald F. Anguish Sr. on Nov. 16, 1934, in Topeka. He died in August 1992. Mrs. Anguish also was preceded in death by a son, Robert, Oct. 27, 1987, and two grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Donald F. Anguish Jr., Topeka; two daughters, Wilma Otteson, Bullhead City, Ariz., and Mary Isbell, Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great- grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 to 9 a.m. Tuesday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home.
