Patricia "Pat" Shanholtz Combs, 46, of Hayfield, VA, died Friday, August 31, 1990, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Combs was born February 3, 1944, in Winchester, VA, the daughter of Paul and Myrtle McDonald Mauzy of Frederick County, VA. She was a beautician and a member of the Hebron Baptist Church in Gore, VA.
Surviving besides her parents are her husband, Garland Combs, whom she married on July 27, 1990; two sons, Jeffrey L Shanholtz, of Capon Bridge, WV, and Darren S Shanholtz of Hayfield, VA; one daughter, Toni P Shanholtz, of Hayfield, VA; two brothers, Connie Mauzy of Gore, VA, and Bobby Mauzy of Winchester, VA; and two grandchildren, Brandon and Kelsey Shanholtz.
A funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Giffin Funeral Home in Capon Bridge, WV, with the Reverend Vernon Bray officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Cemetery in Hayfield, VA.
Pallbearers will Anthony Wolford, Sammy Wolford, Tommy Eagan, David Miller, Jeff Householder, and Roger Combs.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m., and from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday at Giffin Funeral Home.
