LING – Lorene A., 83, of Milford Township, died Aug. 10, 2008, at her residence. Born Dec. 31, 1924, in Brothersvalley Township, the daughter of the late Samuel E. and Ortha May (Knepper) Maust. Also preceded in death by her husband, E. Hayes Ling; sisters, Mary Brant, Leona Weigle and Ruth Maust; and brothers, Judd and Kenneth Maust. Survived by children, Peggy Pletcher, Somerset; Roger Ling, married to former Ginger Mitchell, Somerset; Mrs. Arthur (Glenda) Nardone, Arvada, Colo.; Jeffry Ling and Mark Ling, married to former Michelle Morgan, both of Somerset; grandchildren, Lori Ling; Mrs. Michael (Amanda) Phillips; Mrs. Joseph (Cheryl) Bittner; Anthony Ling; April Ling, and fiance, Tyler Beech; and Jacob Ling. Sister of Mrs. James (Ethel) Brant of Meyersdale. Member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. A 1942 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was a dedicated, hardworking and loving farm wife, mother and grandmother. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Somerset County Memorial Park with the Rev. Ruth Ann Campagna officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 223 S. Pleasant Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501; Calvary United Methodist Church, 239 W. Church St., Somerset, Pa. 15501; or New Centerville & Rural Volunteer Fire Department, c/o Howard Henry, 3054 Kingwood Road, Rockwood, Pa. 15557. Arrangements under the direction of the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home
