Ruth Elaine (Maust) Lepley, 86, of Canton, OH and formerly of Meyersdale, PA, died Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Laurels of Massillon, Massillon, OH. Born August 7, 1928, in Elk Lick Twp., PA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Adam and Susan (Firl) Maust. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Aldin Berkley and Galen Lepley and 15 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Lepley was an LPN retired from Meyersdale Community Hospital. She is survived by four sons, Rodney (Deborah) Berkley, Salisbury, PA; Dwight “Butch” (Barb) Lepley, Lawrence (Joyce) Lepley and Paul (Becky) Lepley, all of Meyersdale; four daughters, Susan (Robert L., Jr.) Allman, Canton, OH; Esther (James) Friend, FL; Mary E. Gardner, Baltimore, MD; Carol (Louis, Jr.) Ohler, Meyersdale; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and many extended family members. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Yoder officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the White Oak Cemetery.
