BOWSER – Lois E. (Maust), 60, Golf Course Road, Stoystown, passed away peacefully in her home Nov. 18, 2013. Born March 19, 1953, in Somerset, daughter of the late Ernest and Loretta (Schrock) Maust. Survived by husband of 37 years, David F.; son, Travis S., Elton; sister, Roberta Jean, married to Virgil Mosholder, Rockwood; brother, John, married to Mary Jane (O'Brien), Somerset; sisters-in-law, Doris, married to Frank Smith, Somerset, and Ruth, married to Ronald Beal, Mechanicsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1971 graduate of Somerset High School. A former nurse's aide for Community Health Services, Johnstown. Member of Sipesville Church of the Brethren, where she played piano and taught Sunday school. Lois enjoyed being with her family at reunions and dinners. She also enjoyed spending time with her pet dog, Pepper. Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at noon Friday, Pastors John and Linda Stoner, presiding.
