Dorothy E. Maughlin, 89, of York, died at Manor Care Health Services- South on Monday, May 30, 2011.
Born December 1, 1921, in York, she was the daughter of the late J. Elwood and Helen V. (Swartz) Maughlin.
Dorothy retired in 1986 as Assistant Treasurer of Farmers Fire Insurance Company of York following 38 years of employment. She was a 1939 graduate of William Penn Senior High School and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of York. She is survived by her longtime friend, Rick Reese and his wife, LouAnn of Hanover.
Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
