Louise Amelung, nee Matthews, age 94, of St. Charles, Mo., received sacraments of Holy Mother Church on April 19, 2014. She was the wife of the late Louis Amelung. She is survived by her children Ron and Dennis Amelung, Sharon Tharp and Pamela Johnson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Eisha and Ada Matthews and step-mother Hilde Matthews.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, Mo. 63074. Interment will follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
