BRANHAM, EDNA MAE MASSENGILL , 88, of Louisville, passed away Friday, March 3, 2006, at Westminster Terrace. She was born August 28, 1917, in Balkan, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jesse Massengill and Carrie Calloway Massengill; her husband, Julius Preston Branham; three brothers, John Roger, Thomas H. and Jess Massengill; and a sister, Mildred Miller.

She is survived by a son, Julius P. Branham (Sarah) of Ashville, NC; five sisters, Thelma Williams, Ruby Vanbeber of Clarksville, TN, Wilma Mays, Helen Harris and Suzi Pursifull of Middlesboro, KY; two brothers, C.A. and Harold Massengill of Middlesboro, KY; two grandchildren, Jeffrey P. Branham (Christy) and Jennifer Branham; and two great-grandchildren, Luke and Sidney Branham.

Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gospel Kingdom Church, with burial to follow in Gospel Kingdom Campground Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at Gospel Kingdom Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benelovent Fund of Gospel Kingdom, 4742 Cane Run Road, Louisville, KY 40216.
