She was married to Guy Cecil Andrews, Jr., on August 11, 1950, who preceded her in death. She lived in Beaufort County, NC, most of her life. She retired from National Spinning and also from Taylor Oil Company. She attended Riverview Baptist Church and was a member of the Women of the Moose. She was survived by on daughter; one sister; two grandchildren; and an extended family. Graveside service officiated by The Rev. Ron Bousquet.
