Ursula M. Hermosa, 86, of McAllen, formerly of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on December 22, 2008 at McAllen Medical Center. Visitation will begin on Friday, December 26, 2008 at 10a.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7p.m.in the Chapel of Darling-Mouser. Mass of resurrection will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday Dec. 27, 2008 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, Texas

Left behind to treasure her memory are her daughters, Varee Sutherland Ben, Maria Elena Sutherland and Ursula Sutherland; a sister, Hortencia de la Rosa; her grandchildren, Joseph Perez, Matthew Perez, Evelyn Vasquez, Carlo Vasquez, Janie Hernandez, Justice Gomez, Iesha V. Gomez, Ariana Gomez, Charles Gomez and Amanda Vasquez; several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro C. Hermosa, a sister, Otilia Tamez and by her parents, Vicente and Maurilia Martinez.
