Levie T. Adamek, 96, passed away on April 4, 2015. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., April 7, 2015, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 8, 2015, in Lawnhaven Cemetery in San Angelo, Texas, with Reverend Tommy Tallas officiating.

Levie T. was born in East Bell County, Texas, to the late Charlie Martinek and Terezie Mikeska Martinek. She married Henry Adamek in 1940. Levie worked 40 years at the San Angelo Center. She was a lifelong member and a past Worthy Matron of the Carlsbad Chapter of Eastern Star. Levie was a member of the Wall Brethren Church and recently of Seaton Brethren Church. She was a wonderful cook. Levie baked pies, cakes and cinnamon rolls. Her special ingredient was love.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Henry; brothers: Edwin Mikeska, Albert Martinek, and Charlie Martinek; and infant sister, Karla.

Survivors include her sisters, Elsie Cabla and Dorothy Tomasek; along with several nieces and nephews. J18
