Martin.
Mary Etta Willey was born Oct. 22, 1876, in Cass county, Missouri; later moved to Kansas, here she grew to womanhood, she was married to Marion S. Martin. To this union were born eleven children, all living excepting two babes, which died in infancy. Mrs. S.M. Martin died July 7, 1919, of tuberculosis. She had been in poor health for some time but bore her sickness very patiently. She was a devoted Christian wife and mother. She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, family, father, mother, brothers and sisters and many friends who will miss her gentle voice and her smile that always cheered us.
Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday morning and the remains brought to Belle Plaine for burial.
