Mrs. Louise G. (Martin) Alexander, 83, of Bradford (Haverhill), MA, died Monday evening, June 19, 2006, at Wingate at Haverhill Nursing Home, Haverhill, MA.

She was born in Somerville, Mass, on Jan. 1, 1923, daughter of the late Alexander and Bertha (Van Iderstein) Martin.

Louise graduated from Somerville High School, Class of 1940 and was employed at Polaroid in Cambridge and Transition formerly in Wakefield, Mass in the accounting department.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years Edward J. Alexander, son Kenneth B. Alexander and his wife Theresa of Wakefield, daughter Carole L. and her husband Joseph F. Muse of Bradford, three grandchildren Heather Muse, Sean Alexander and Kenneth R. Alexander, a great granddaughter Felicia Rose Alexander, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
