Sally Marshall Bourne, 79, wife of the late Jack C. Bourne, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Hospice House, following a three year battle with cancer.

Sally was born in Sumter, SC on February 9, 1937 to the late George Norton and Roberta Meehan Marshall.
She graduated from Lander College and retired from Piedmont Technical College in 2013 after forty three years of teaching English and assisting students in The Teaching and Learning Center computer lab. She was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church and the John Knox Sunday School Class.

She will be remembered for her kind, generous spirit and her love for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 PM Friday, February 19th at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Kyle Hite and Dr. Charles Moates officiating. A private family interment will be held in Greenwood Memorial Gardens following the service.

The family will receive friends at the church from 2 to 3 Friday afternoon.
