Jane was the widow of John Peter Rucker, who died in NYC June 1788, by whom she had one son. She became the second wife of Alexander Macomb.Sr in July of 1791. They had seven children. She was buried with him in Georgetown Presbyterian Old Burying Ground and was reintered at ANC on May 12 1892 when the Georgetown cemetery was closed. Her name is on the bottom half of the stone, her husband's on the top.
