Lois was born in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Maurice and Mary Ann (Delaney) Baker. She married Cliff Marshall and they made their home in Lincoln, Nebraska. She loved to quilt, and was active in the quilting club at North Gate Estates, making Linus quilts for children. She passed away due to complications of cancer, and is survived by her husband, Cliff; daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Jeremy Reynolds of Ill.; daughter, Margie Madden of Lincoln; son, Bill Conroy of Kansas City, Mo.; son, Gus Conroy of Sioux Falls, S.D.; step-daughter and spouse, Jill and Dave Ellett of Glendale, Ariz.; step-daughter and spouse, Joy and Rick Novotny of Lincoln; step-daughter, Jan Huss of Eagle, Neb.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Steve Baker of Indiana; sister, Nancy Watts, Betty Mack, and Beverly Crawford, all of Illinois; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and three sisters. She is dearly loved by her family and friends, and is greatly missed.
