Lexington - A memorial service for Louise Marsh Baker, 88, of Lexington, will be held at 11 o'clock, Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant UMC with The Rev. Michael Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant UMC, 736 Campground Rd., Columbia, SC 29203 or to the Cayce UMC Kitchen Fund, 1600 12th St., Cayce, SC 29033. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family. Mrs. Baker died December 28, 2010. Born December 5, 1922 in Blythewood, she was a daughter of the late Claudis A. and Ola Mae Entzminger Marsh. She worked for many years as a medical assistant and was a member of Mt. Pleasant UMC. Survivors include her daughter, Bettie J. Wadford; granddaughter, Tina Marie H. Rabon; 2 great granddaughters; 1 great grandson; 6 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 2 brothers, her husband, Carl A. Baker and her daughter, Linda L. Smith. © 2011 Shives Funeral Home
