Funeral services for Dorothy Jewel Berry, 88, of Rayville, LA were held 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville with Bro. Terry Temple and Bro. Rickey Berry officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
Mrs. Dorothy was born September 21, 1926 in Mangham, LA and passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Winnsboro, LA.
Mrs. Dorothy was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle and was a loving caregiver to her family and community.
Mrs. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Berry; parents, Sam and Emma Marsh; sons, James William Berry and Timothy Ray Berry; sister, Mable Brewer; and brothers, Bennie Marsh, Sam Marsh, Junior Marsh, and Elton Marsh.
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Barnhill and husband, T.W. of Clarks, LA, Wanda Suggs and husband, Rickey Joe of Winnsboro, and Renee' Keene and husband, Wade of Houston, TX; sons, Johnnie Carroll Berry and wife, Lonnie of Rayville, Jerry Wayne Berry and wife, Kim of Rayville, Rickey Berry and wife, Shelia of Rayville, Mike Berry and wife, Debbie of Rayville, and Don Berry and wife, Rhonda of Rayville; and sister, Bonnie Kavanaugh of Winnsboro; 25-grandchildren, 43-great grandchildren, and 3-great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Barnhill, Dylan Sinclair, Scott Berry, Brad Berry, Shane Berry, Jeremy Berry, and Jerry Wayne Berry. Honorary pallbearer was Dawson Veuleman.
