Edmond Ellis Marley, 76, of Talihina.,passed away Wednesday, November 24th 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Marley was born in Stringtown, Oklahoma on September 19, 1934, the son of the late Ray and Ruby {Mitchell} Marley. He severed in the U.S. Army Air Force as a Staff Sergeant in the Korean War, and later as an electrical engineer. He was the husband of Lahoma Lorane (Standefer) Marley. They were married on August 15, 2006 in Mena, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Jeannetta Donica.

He is survived by his wife, Lorane Rose-Marley, two daughters; Cheryl & Steve Linker of Whitesboro, Oklahoma, Shawn & Gary Madlock of Phoenix, Arizona, grandchildren; Rance & Delila Linker of Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma, Landry Lake of Peoria, Arizona, Ketra & Brett Burns of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Alexis & Owen of Buffalo Valley, two brothers, Ray & Mary Marley of Farmington, New Mexico, Wendell and Norma Marley of McAlester, Oklahoma, two step children; Nina & Duane Yearwood of Eakley, Oklahoma, Gene and Pat Rose of Lookeba, Oklahoma, step grandchildren, Tonya & Bobby Noon of Edmond, Oklahoma, Heather and Tommy House of Lookeba, Oklahoma, Amy & Eric Greteman of Hinton, Oklahoma, Johnna Kay Lee of Houston, Texas, Jennifer Rose of Lookeba, Oklahoma, Stephanie & Danny Hobson of Edmond,Oklahoma, John M. Rose of Monahan Texas, Katie Rose, and Philip Rose of Lookeba, Oklahoma, special sister-in-law; Billie Huddleston of Talihina, numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Pallbearers for the service will be Bobby Noon, Donnie Faulkner, Kent Donica, Rance Linker, Greg Marley, and Kenny Dill. Honorary pallbearers will be Ellis Angel, Billy Simpson, Tobe Anderson, Robbie Bruce, Buford Lockhart, David Sprouse, Joe Brown and Lloyd Matthews. Religious Services will be held at Sardis Community Center, Sardis, Oklahoma, at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 28th, with Rev. Carrol Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
