UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS VETERAN

Mr. Samuel Owen March, age 77, formerly of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Florham Park, NJ, and Elizabeth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, March 16, 2016, at the Highlands Care Center, Laporte, PA.

Sam was born on January 10, 1939 in Elizabeth, NJ a son of the late Howard E. & Sara Anne Pugh March.

He graduated from the Elizabeth High School a member of the class of 1956.

He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959. In 1963 he graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ, with a B.A. in Psychology.

He owned and operated Hickory Wine Cellar in Chatham Township, NJ for many years and later owned Chelsea Tile and Marble Company in Dingmans Ferry, PA

Surviving:
Two sons: Shayn March of Parkland, FL
Cory March of Readington Twp., NJ

Sister: Sarah “Sally” Mayfield
Three granddaughters, and two nieces.

Private family funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family and interment will be in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
