Farmer, stockman. David Maphet spent most all of his life in Beaver Co. Oklahoma, farming with his father Charles L. Maphet (until his death in 1958) Dave was also an accomplished musician, playing the banjo and the tenor guitar.
He married his wife Ernestine on December 26, 1945, and to this marriage were born three sons. Tony, Terry, and Victor.
