HELEN (Makara), 91, passed away June 16, 2013. She resided in Lakewood, NJ after moving from South Phila. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, John; her parents, William and Mary Makara; sisters, Mary, Anna, Pauline and a brother John.
Surviving are her devoted daughters: Eileen Zamerovsky (late husband Walter) and Christine Sansom; loving grand-children: Nicole Zamerovsky (husband Jorge) and Paula Kares; a great-granddaughter, Ava Skye; sisters Julia Makara and Margaret Klutchka and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful nurses, aides, and office staff of Leisure Park Assisted Living in Lakewood for the excellent care given to Helen while she resided there.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Orthodox Christian Church of the Annunciation (OCCA), Iconography Project, 360 Van Zile Road, Brick, NJ 08724.
