Letha Louise Majors Forbes, went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband, Jim on April 5, 2013. Letha was born in San Francisco California to Laurel(Meukow)Majors and Fredrick Majors on March 10, 1930. Her family returned to Bremerton when she was a small child , where she attended Bremerton Schools.
In 1950, she met and married her soul mate, Jim Forbes and they raised five children; Donna Longwell Sully (Brian), Catherine Bitz, Michael (Ann), James (Cyndi), and Walter (Valerie) on their farm in Kingston.
She was an avid pinochle player and loved to dance. She was active in her community as a Grange member, PTA president and in her church as long as her heath allowed.
Besides her husband James, Letha was preceded in death by her parents and step father, Oscar Hays, two brothers, Howard and Kenneth Majors, and her sister Dorothy Roche. She leaves behind her five children and their spouses, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great–great grandchildren, along with 12 nieces and nephews and their children.
