FARMER FOUND DEAD
EMINENCE, Ky., Sept. 22 --- Sam H. Mahorney, 58, a farmer of the Franklinton neighborhood, who had been missing from his home there since last Sunday, was found dead in a field on the Joe Clark farm by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Clark Mahorney. Rampant rumors of violence were nulled by Coroner A. P. Dowden, Eminence, when he pronounced dead due to apolexy. The discovery of the body was due to apolexy. The discovery of the body was made by Mrs. Mahorney and her mother while they were returning to their home from a visit to her son, Dewey Mahorney. Mrs. Mahorney said her husband left home with Howard Moppin for Franklinton. Mr. Mahorney was last seen by her son, who tried to get his father to return to his home.
