Ethel Mae Mahoney Douthitt, age 76 of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Jewish Hospital, Louisville. She attended Masonic Home Chapel. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Margaret (Rucker) Gammon and preceded in death by two sons, Danny Ray Gammon and Terry Wayne Gammon.

Survived by: 2 Daughters: Elly Jaggers (John) of Cropper and Jeanie Wilson (Robby) of Smithfield; 2 Sons: Ricky Mahoney (Lisa) of Eminence and Tony Mahoney of New Castle; 12 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; 4 Step Great Grandchildren; 1 Step Great-Great Granddaughter.

Visitation: 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Paul Briscoe, pastor of Lockport Baptist Church. Burial: Franklinton Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers: Michelle Fisher, Victoria Wood, Megan Jaggers, Madison Mahoney, Amber Hancock, Kayla Jaggers, Amy Jaggers and Skylar Stucker.
