DeVito, Ruth (Maher), 58, of North Providence, died Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence. She was the wife of John P. DeVito, Sr. for over 38 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Francis J. & Ruth (Brennen) Maher, Sr.
She had lived in North Providence for the past 18 years. Ruth was a Senior Account Executive for CIBMS of Warwick, RI. She prided herself on her beliefs, faith, and accomplishments and touched so many people's lives daily.
Besides her husband, she leaves two children; her daughter, Michelle Stanley and her husband, Kirk, and her son, John P. DeVito, Jr., and his wife Jody; four sisters, Kathleen Taylor, Deborah Petrucci, Elaine and Madeline Maher.
She was the sister of the late Francis J. Maher, Jr.
Ruth also leaves behind her two grandchildren, John III and Cole William.
Burial in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI.
