Mary Mach Blecha, was born May 10, 1881, at Velelchine, Czechoslovakia, and died at the Lutheran hospital, Hebron, NE. on January 29, 1950; at the age 0f 68 years, 7 months and 19 days.
When she was 10 years old she came with her family to this country and they settled at Pawnee, NE.
She was united in marriage to Charles Blecha and a daughter was born to this union. In 1907 they moved to a farm near Narka, where they lived until Mr. Blecha's death on August 31, 1939. Mrs. Blecha and her daughter then moved to Narka where they made their home. Her daughter Mary, preceded her in death on July 29, 1942.
Mrs. Blecha was known as a good neighbor, always ready to help another in need. She was a kind and devoted wife and mother. In January 1947, she entered Hebron hospital and remained there until her death.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, three brothers, Joseph, Steve, and Frank.
Survivors include a brother, James Mach, four nieces, four nephews, all of Narka, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian Church at Narka on Wednesday Feb. 1, conducted by the Rev. John P. Sinclair. Interment was in National Cemetery south of Narka, Kansas
