Observer-Reporter, Washington PA, Saturday 23 May 1981, page D 7 - ETHEL L. HANNA, 93, formerly of Houston, died Thursday, May 21, 1981, in Meadow Lakes Retirement Home, Hightstown, N.J. She was born August 2, 1887, in Kammerer, a daughter of FRANK C. and NANCY FRANCES MOORE LYON. A member of Chartiers Hill Presbyterian Church for more than 65 years, she was a member of its Women's Missionary Society and Sunday School. She was also a member of North Strabane Fidelity Circle, Daughters of the American Revolution and Canonsburg and Washington garden clubs, and was a matron at the Washington County Home for Aged Women. Her husband, G. JOHNSON HANNA, is deceased. Surviving are a son, PAUL HANNA of Summit, N.J. a sister, MRS. LYDIA CONKLIN, Washington; a brother, DR. BRADEN LYON, Pearl River, N.Y.; two grandsons, PAUL J. HANNA II and LEE E. HANNA, and a great-granddaughter, CHRISTINE J. HANNA. A brother, the REV. WILBUR LYON, is deceased.

HANNA formerly of Houston, who died in Meadow Lakes Retirement Home, Hightstown, N.J., Thursday, May 21, 1981, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the William E. Speakman Funeral Home, Ltd., Houston. Services will be conducted in Chartiers Hill Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, by the Rev. Donald Austin. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
