Cora was the daughter of Frank and Agnes Lovrien. She married Eugene Bennett on 4 Aug 1895 in Bradgate, Iowa. They were the parents of Herschel Keith and Royal Stanley.
Sept 9, 1959 - Humboldt Republican - Graveside services for Mrs. Cora Lovrien Bennett will be held Thursday, Sept. 10 between 4 and 4:30 p.m., at the Union cemetery in Humboldt. Funeral services will be held at the Collegiate Methodist church at Ames at 1:30 p.m., Sept 10.
Mrs Bennett passed away Monday morning Sept 7 after several months of being hospitalized and in a nursing home at Ames. Her husband Eugene Bennett preceded her in death. The early years of their lives were spent on a farm in Humboldt county.
Surviving are her sons Hershell Bennett of Detroit, MI; Stanley Bennett of Atlantic; and Avril Bennett of Spencer; and a daughter Mildred, Mrs Howard Larson of Denver, CO; a number of grandchildren; four brothers: Ned Lovrien of Omaha; Fred Lovrien of Spencer; Arthur Lovrien of Phoenix, AZ; and Orvis Lovrien of Florida; and one sister Genora Lovrien of Ames.
