CHARLOTTE ABBE, daughter of Horace and Caroline H. (Sparks) Abbe, born in Thompsonville, Conn., October 14, 1840.

Married April 9, 1863, PHILIP H. LOVEJOY, born in Lowell, Mass., April 14, 1840, son of Reverend John Lovejoy, a Methodist minister, and his wife, Ruth Stiners.

He has been the proprietor of a grist mill at Thompsonville.

1 - Frank Watson Lovejoy, b. Feb. 5, 1866. He is a conductor on the Enfield-Hartford Street Railway. Married Nov. 21, 1900, Margaret Jane Patterson, b. Aug. 10, 1878, in Fermanagh County, Ireland, daughter of William and Fanny (Crozier) Patterson. Child : Fanny, b. in Thompsonville, Oct. 1, 1901.

2 - William W. Lovejoy, b. Aug. 25, 1869. He is a machinist. Married Nov., 1890, Blanche Logan, b. March 7, 1871, daughter of Thomas and Augusta (Bryant) Logan, of Thompsonville. Children, b. in Thompsonville : i. Eva Adebne, b. May 16, 1892, m. Dec. 16, 1909, Ernest W. H. Pierce, b. April 1, 1884, son of Walter and Juba (Fox) Pierce, lives in Springfield, Mass.; ii. Lydia Ruth, b. Feb. 1, 1894; iii. Mildred, b. Feb. 1, 1896; iv. Elmer, b. Dec. 1, , d. aged about five years.

3 - Caroline A. Lovejoy, b. Dec. 22, 1878 ; d. May 13, 1880.

4 - Tinnie Lovejoy, b. July 11, 1881 ; d. Aug. 5, 1881.
