LOVEJOY, Clarissa Del Carmen, 60, of Melbourne, Fla., went to heaven August 6, 2011, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of colon cancer. She had worked as an accounting clerk for AAFES where she met her beloved husband of 32 years, Michael. With AAFES they relocated extensively including a tour to Panama, where she was born. She will be missed by her husband, Michael; her parents, Sgt. Pedro and Lastenia Morales; siblings, Pedro (Marlene), Nelida (Doug) Belle, Ricardo (Denise), Edgardo (Lisa), Myrta, Rafin; and several nieces and nephews. Clarissa enjoyed cooking especilly making homemade breads, cross stitch, and listening to music- her favorite being Elvis. She was the kindest person and always saw the good in people. "We will miss her gentle mannerism and her smile." Friends will be recieved at 10 a.m. Monday, August 8, with a Catholic service at 11 a.m., at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Franciscans, St. Anthony's Guild, 4 Jersey Street, East Rutherford, N.J. 07073; or charity of your choice.
