Pearl L. Damewood passed away on July 22, 2015 in Turner, OR. She is survived by her two daughters, Eleanor Allen Hughes of Costa Rica and Donna Damewood Durkee of Redmond, OR, three grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was born on February 1, 1916 in Bakersfield, CA to Audrey Arteberry Thompson Love and William R. Love. She graduated from Kern County Union High School and Bakersfield Community College. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lt. Calvin Allen, in 1944. She then married Darwin Frank Damewood in 1946 who died in 2000, She was also preceded in death by her two siblings, Pauline Johnstone and William R. Love, Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 2 PM at Turner Christian Church. Preferred remembrances are to Turner Retirement Center and Turner Christian Church.
