Cindy Love, age 58, passed away November 10, 2015 in her home after battling a chronic illness. A lifelong Memphian, Cindy graduated from Briarcrest High School and The University of Memphis. During her early career, she devoted her time as a recreational therapist caring for the elderly at St. Peter's Villa and Hillhaven Convalescent Hospital. Later, she worked several years as an account executive the the Better Business Bureau of Memphis, but Cindy's true passion was catering. She loved serving specially prepared gourmet meals and wrote several articles on culinary art and exceptional dining. Cindy was also known for her love of animals and for rescuing homeless strays, providing shelter, food, and a loving environment. She was preceded in death by her father, Judge Robert H. Love, and her younger sisters, Candace Love and Connie Love. She is survived by her mother, Dr. Varna P. Love, twin sister, Cathy Love, and sister Carrie Wright, mother of Ben , Will, Clark and Claire Bowers.She also leaves behind an aunt, uncle, many cousins and their children. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 15 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel at at Hope Church on 8500 Walnut Grove, Cordova, TN, 38018. The family is very grateful for the king expressions of sympathy from many friends and respectfully request, in lieu of flowers , that any memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
