Mary Rosina, a native of Santa Fe, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents Max and Josephine Lopez; husband Augustin "Gus" Baros Sr.; sons Raymond "Lobster" Baros and John Pete Baros; sisters-in-law: Josie (Juanito) Griego and Ruth Ann Lopez; and brothers-in-laws: Frank Chavez and Leonard Duran.

Mary Rosina was survived by three sons: Gus Baros Jr. (Dora), Joseph Baros (Lori), and George Baros (Nancy) all of Santa Fe; two daughters: Theresa Baros and Margaret Jaramillo (Danny) of Santa Fe; four sisters: Maida Gonzales (Gustavo) of Tesuque, Virginia Garcia (Rubel), Jo Ann Madrid (M. Joe), and Christine Gabaldon (Miguel) all of Santa Fe; brother Pat M. Lopez of Santa Fe; sister-in-law Ruby Chavez of Albuquerque; granddaughter that Mary Rosina helped raise, Andrea Jaramillo; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Mary Rosina retired from St. Vincent Hospital after 13 years of service. She was a member of Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America-St. John's Court, a volunteer at the Mary Ester Center, Retired Seniors Volunteer Program and at the Nutrition-Meal Site Commodities. Mary Rosina enjoyed ceramics and embroidery and her favorite NFL team was the Denver Broncos, especially John Elway.

A Rosary was recited on October 20 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Funeral Mass was on October 21, also at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment followed at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Cristo Rey Catholic Church Building Fund or to PMS Hospice Services.
